Use this software at your own risk. Flashing or restoring firmware may brick your device, making it unusable, and may cause data loss. The project authors and contributors accept no responsibility for damage or loss resulting from use of this software.

Disconnect the live companion first. Use your established C62 manual bootloader/reset procedure with the programming cable, then connect here. Release physical PTT before serial communication; it shares the RX pin. Automatic DTR/RTS reset is not enabled. This connection loads a helper into RAM and does not erase or write flash.

These tools work independently of the application firmware version. Keep the radio powered and the cable connected until the operation finishes. Dump and retain a complete backup before updating. Cancelled or failed reads do not produce a successful backup. Unplug before rebooting into normal operation.

Update firmware

Select one release bundle containing its matching application/DSP pair. Normal updates preserve settings and factory calibration. Files are validated locally.

Separate recovery operation for this same radio only. Replaces all firmware, settings, calibration and unknown flash bytes.

Calibration inspection reads and verifies the 64 KiB journal at 0x3B0000–0x3C0000. Historical entries and undecoded record bytes remain available. Download raw factory region separately reads and verifies 0x3B0000 to the end of flash for a complete local copy. No values are applied to the radio.
